The Landhotel Lerch Plankenau is situated in a quiet and sunny location in the Plankenau district of St. Johann im Pongau, surrounded by meadows and forests in an excellent location directly below the Alpendorf. The centre of St. Johann is approx. 2.5 km away.  

The double and family rooms with bunk beds are comfortably furnished in country house style. A lovely play of colours and lots of light give all rooms a homely atmosphere.

Hotel Lerch offers the holiday plus for children: In summer, children's entertainment by a trained pedagogue takes place during holiday times. A large garden with riding arena, petting zoo, natural swimming pond, farm is available for the children to play and romp around.

Numerous walking trails, cycling and hiking tours can be started from the accommodation.

In winter, the free ski bus is ready and takes everyone directly in front of the Landhotel to the Alpendorf gondola station. The descent directly to the hotel is also possible when snow conditions are favourable. For cross-country skiers, there is a direct entry point to the cross-country trail.

After a day's holiday in the fresh air, the sauna and heat world provides soothing moments. The wellness oasis offers a Finnish sauna, a steam bath, heated loungers and a whirlpool tub. Massages can be booked on site.

It will be nice and very cold on Tuesday. From Wednesday, high pressure will decline and the first troughs of low pressure will extend to our region. They will bring thick bands of clouds and values will become milder.
