Special exhibitions with a Salzburg connection
The changing special exhibitions always offer new perspectives on the art and cultural history of Salzburg and, thanks to international cooperation, enable visitors to look beyond their own backyard. The Salzburg Museum is currently celebrating 100 years of the Salzburg Festival with a national exhibition. The premiere of Hugo von Hofmannsthal's "Jedermann" on 22 August 1920 in the Cathedral Square is considered the founding date of the Salzburg Festival. Entitled "The Greatest Theatre in the World - 100 Years of the Salzburg Festival", the exhibition gives an overview of the history of the Festival and traces its development up to the present day.

If only we could preserve the current weather for a few days! But one of the oldest proverbs says panta rhei (everything is in a state of flux), and this particularly applies to the weather in Central Europe! After the sunshine of yesterday, the weather will deteriorate again. The cloud will gradually thicken and snow showers will arrive by evening.

Thursday, bands of clouds will still cover the sky and produce a few snowflakes. On Friday, high pressure will return to us!
