Special exhibitions with a Salzburg connection
The changing special exhibitions always offer new perspectives on the art and cultural history of Salzburg and, thanks to international cooperation, enable visitors to look beyond their own backyard. The Salzburg Museum is currently celebrating 100 years of the Salzburg Festival with a national exhibition. The premiere of Hugo von Hofmannsthal's "Jedermann" on 22 August 1920 in the Cathedral Square is considered the founding date of the Salzburg Festival. Entitled "The Greatest Theatre in the World - 100 Years of the Salzburg Festival", the exhibition gives an overview of the history of the Festival and traces its development up to the present day.

It should not be too difficult to accept todays unstable weather. Although there will still be a few showers continuing tomorrow, clear spells will increase. The day after tomorrow will produce fantastic weather with plenty of sunshine and nice temperatures.
