The farm is located on a gentle downward slope of the Ramsau am Dachstein high plateau in the immediate vicinity of the Dachstein Road. The Walcherhof has been a farm for generations and is therefore a place where children in particular enjoy the many farm animals. A special feature in the Dachstein-Schladming holiday region is the fallow deer enclosure at the Walcherhof and the fish pond. Children have one of the few opportunities to see the forest dwellers, who are so shy in the wild, at close quarters.
The Pension Walcherhof offers cosy double and family rooms in the traditional style of rural properties. All rooms guarantee soothing sleep. Due to the isolated location of the farm surrounded by the natural landscape, no disturbing noises are to be expected.
The team of the Walcherhof spoils its guests with culinary products from their own farm and a small wellness area with sauna, infrared cabin and whirlpool is also not missing at the Walcherhof.

If only we could preserve the current weather for a few days! But one of the oldest proverbs says “panta rhei” (“everything is in a state of flux”), and this particularly applies to the weather in Central Europe! After the sunshine of yesterday, the weather will deteriorate again. The cloud will gradually thicken and snow showers will arrive by evening.
