Ramsau am Dachstein
Family-style hospitality ☘ Alpine comfort ☘ Close to nature
The
Landhaus Ramsau is situated in a quiet, sunny location in Ramsau am Dachstein
and combines family-style hospitality, alpine comfort, and close
proximity to nature. For three generations, the Walcher family has run this
4-star hotel with great personal dedication—warmly, unpretentiously, and with a
genuine understanding of their guests’ needs.
The bright and spacious rooms and apartments offer a cozy
retreat after active days on vacation. Natural materials, a cozy ambiance, and,
in some cases, breathtaking views of the Ramsau mountains create an atmosphere
where you can unwind and feel right at home. Spacious apartments with kitchens
are also available for families and longer stays.
Landhaus Ramsau treats guests to regional and seasonal culinary
specialties. In the evening, guests can enjoy a freshly prepared 4-course
menu of their choice, which can be savored on the terrace or in the cozy
restaurant with a view of the mountains.
After a day in the mountains, the small but exquisite wellness area—featuring
an indoor pool, Finnish sauna, steam room, and infrared sauna—invites you to
relax.
A particular highlight is the location: hiking trails and cross-country
ski trails start right at the door, and the Rittisberg is just a few steps away.
In winter, cross-country skiing, winter hiking, and downhill skiing are
available right on-site or in the immediate vicinity; in summer, over 200
kilometers of hiking trails, alpine pastures, and numerous opportunities for
mountaineering and rock climbing await.
The Landhaus Ramsau is a place for anyone who wants to enjoy an active
vacation while also finding time to relax, unwind, and feel at ease—nestled in
the heart of the breathtaking mountain scenery of Ramsau am Dachstein.
