The hotel is situated in a sunny and quiet spot on the edge of the forest, directly in the centre of Filzmoos. The ski lift, many shops and restaurants can be easily reached on foot.

Since 2016, the Hotel am Sonnenhügel is part of the Hanneshof Resort and follows the high level of the resort in quality and service. The charming 30 rooms, suites and a first-class flat offer good value for money for a holiday in Filzmoos. 

The hotel has a cosy lobby and a traditional Wirtsstube in rustic brewery style, serving down-to-earth dishes. A seminar room for 60 people is available for larger events. 

The hotel's small wellness area has been newly renovated and offers a sauna, steam bath, sanarium and infrared cabin. All hotel guests also enjoy free admission to the Filzmoos leisure park.
