The Stuhlalm is located on the west side of the Gosaukamm with a fantastic view of the north face of the Bischofsmütze: a paradise for alpine hikers and climbers.
Bizarre rock spires rise above the green pastures of the alpine pastures. The innkeepers spoil hikers with hot and cold dishes.
The alpine hut can be reached from Annaberg, Gosau and Filzmoos. The walking time from the Pommer car park in Annaberg-Astauwinkel is about 1.5 hours. From the Gablonzerhütte in Gosau (Gosaukammbahn) you can reach the alpine hut in about 3 hours. From Filzmoos you can reach the hut via the Austriaweg (Hofpürgelhütte) in approx. 4-5 hours. The Stuhlalm is also a popular starting point for a hike to the Angerstein, the Strichkogel or the Mandlkogel. Overnight accommodation for up to 39 people.
