The Nickel Museum is a "showcase" for the permanent exhibition "Roasted Stones and Stung Food" and impressively portrays the mining history of the Schladming region.
The focus is on the processing and use of "nickel", a metal that was and is in great demand in the past and today. The traces of the past impress the visitor and the extraordinarily dangerous work of the miners is made clear. The "nickel" elf also brings the exhibition to life for children and encourages them to conduct their own investigations.
Tip: Melting Furnace Tour This easy, short circular hike is suitable for children's prams and leads from the Wehrhofalm to the historic nickel melting furnace. Duration: approx. 1 hour and 15 minutes

Forecast
The weather in March will probably not be able to beat the weather of Wednesday: The morning will be sunny, clear and rather chilly. Already, the sun has the same intensity as in mid September and it will therefore be pleasantly mild for the season.

This bright weather will last for another few days. There will be a few occasional clouds, but all in all the sun will dominate the sky and produce mild temperatures.
