Alpine Club refuge at 1,705 m.

The hut is uniquely situated at the foot of the Großer Bischofsmütze and offers a varied range of activities for alpine recreational athletes: from easy hikes to challenging alpine climbs to demanding climbing routes of various degrees of difficulty.

Even in bad weather, the hut is worth a visit thanks to the indoor bouldering and climbing walls.

We are in spting now and thus in the middle of the foehn season! This time of year is particularly known for its long-lasting foehn periods. Until easter, we will experience just such a foehn period: The weather will be sunny to cloudy, mostly dry, and consistently very mild.
