The Maiskogel family mountain is accessible directly in the centre of Kaprun and offers many leisurely hiking trails and mountain bike tours, which can be comfortably reached with the MK Maiskogelbahn.
At the top station is the playground made of natural materials and Alpine Coaster Maisiflitzer.
The Alpine Coaster Maisflitzer, which is open daily, is a hot tip for exciting family adventures and sends you hurtling down into the valley at speeds of up to 40 km/h. Built-in waves, jumps and a variety of other attractions ensure that you can enjoy the ride at any time of the day. Built-in waves, jumps and 5 gyros provide pure adrenaline, while the track hovers 11 metres above the ground at its highest point.
The Maiskogel cable car ends directly in the beautiful hiking area of Kaprun at 1,500m. Pinzgau specialities can be enjoyed in the catered huts. An insider tip for bikers and hikers is the Unterbergalm, where there is still traditional milk processing with the sale of homemade alpine products.
