The Buttermilchalm is situated at 1,130 m above sea level above the village of St. Martin am Tennengebirge and offers a magnificent view of the village and the Gosaukamm. The alpine pasture can be reached all year round from St. Martin on a well-maintained road and in summer is considered the ideal starting point for hikes and walks with 5 circular hiking trails and the St. Martin Panorama Route. In winter both the toboggan run and the ski slope of the St. Martin family ski area are located directly in front of the Buttermilchalm. A cross-country ski run is only 5 minutes away.

The area of high pressure that is developing will remain. We will therefore experience a good deal of bright days. It should not be too difficult to accept todays unstable weather. Although there will still be a few showers continuing tomorrow, clear spells will increase.
